Pan American Games - Santo Domingo 2003

In August 2003, the Dominican Republic hosted the Pan American Games in historic and beautiful Santo Domingo. The Pan Ams is a multi-sport game and is viewed as an excellent opportunity for countries in the Americas (South, Central and North) to win quota spots to the Olympics. Below you'll find some pictures from the games. The oddest picture was z_bball_m16.jpg: one of the soldiers was watching a basketball game in a crowded stadium, so he unloaded and left his M-16 rifle on the floor, in the stands.
