ATT for a Restricted Firearm

I will be taking my Restricted and Non-restricted PAL training soon. Eventually, I am planning to go Targetshooting on both Restricted and Non-restricted
levels. Non-restricted firearm is not a problem bringing to a range. But my questions are: Can I get an ATT to bring a pistol to a range to shoot? Is it mandatory to be a member of a particular Gun Club to be able to secure a Restricted firearm ATT?
